At Scripted, our dream is to create lasting relationships between great writers and great clients. When this dream becomes a reality and a client has a specific writer in mind for a project, we get this question a lot - from writers and clients. Here's how we recommend clients and writers proceed...
1. Client Creates a Private (Invite-Only) Project
2. Client Invites Writer to Private Project
After creating the private project, the client can specifically search for their preferred writer and invite them to submit a job proposal.
The writer will receive an email notification about the invitation and the project invitation will appear in their dashboard.
The writer can verify the client only invited one writer and the project is Private.
3. Writer Submits Job Proposal
The writer must make a proposal. Since the client only invited their preferred writer and it's likely the writer has a relationship with the client, the proposal may not need to be as detailed as proposals for competitive projects and unknown clients. We recommend the writer still crafts a proposal that reassures the client that the writer will do their best work on the job.
4. Client Accepts and Starts Job Proposal
To start the job, the client can review the job proposal and accept it.
