If you’re ready to get writing on Scripted, the first step is to visit the Find Work section and begin browsing available Projects. Here, you’ll find a list of Projects you’ve been personally invited to, as well as a separate list of additional Projects that are seeking Proposals from Writers.
Once you’ve found one that catches your eye, click on the Proposal to begin pitching. You’ll find an assortment of information is available to you in the Content Brief, which will tell you everything you need to know about what the customer has in mind.
You’ll also note that you’re able to propose the word count, determine the length of time it will take you to complete the job and your pricing, among other parameters.
Most importantly, you’re able to tell the customer why you’re best qualified to write this Project. Use this space wisely and include a bit of your background information, some of the ideas you have in mind and maybe even a sample paragraph if you’re feeling up to it! This is the information the customer will use to determine the best fit for the Project.
When finished, review your Proposal and Submit. You’re done! From here, the customer will review your submission and if it’s a good fit, they’ll turn it in to a job.
