If you’re looking for a writer for a specific project or you’re just curious about the types of writers who work with Scripted, browsing writers is a great place to start!
You can browse Scripted writers by navigating to the Writers menu at the top of your dashboard.
From this menu, you can either see all writers by selecting Browse All Writers or you can view just writers you've worked with by selecting Manage My Writers.
From the browse writers menu, you can narrow down writers by their approved tags. Select a general tag and then narrow your search further by selecting an additional tag. You can also use the search bar to search by your industry or for a specific writer's name.
From this view, you will see a snapshot of a writer's profile that includes things like their current star rating, a brief bio, and their rate for a standard blog post. Click View Profile to find out more!
If you click View Profile, you’ll be able to check out a writer’s full profile. A writer's full profile will show you a full bio, all writer tags, detailed customer reviews, a full rate chart, and more!
We've outlined the main components of a writer profile below:
This is the total number of jobs this writer has completed for Scripted customers
This number is calculated
A writer is awarded a tag in a particular industry once they have proven their experience in that industry. This can be done by submitting a sample to the Scripted team or by completing work for a Scripted customer in that industry.
If you’d like to order work from a writer, you can do so directly from their writer profile by clicking the order content button. This will open up an order form where you can define the details of your project. To preview the cost of your order, check out the writer’s price chart.
Writers have the ability to set their own rates for our standard formats. Several factors such as experience, availability, and word-count impact rates. See a price you like? Just click Create to begin your order from this writer.
Each writer is able to upload three writing samples to their profile. These samples can give you an idea of this writer’s style and expertise in some areas. Writers aren’t required to upload samples, so if a writer you’re interested in doesn’t have samples in their profile, you can send them a message!
You can send messages directly to writers by clicking the message writer menu. You can ask writers about their experience in your field, or outline a project to gauge their interest!
Schedule a call
If you’d like to get in touch with a writer before or during a project, you can use the schedule a call menu to suggest a few times that you’re available to connect. Phone calls are a great way to go over project details and talk through a writer’s experience or ideas.
Within a writer’s profile, you’ll be able to view any work they have completed for you in the past.
