Content Tune-Ups

What is a content tune-up?

A content tune-up is a rewrite, update, or copy edit to an existing piece of content. Sometimes a customer may have an outdated piece of content that they'd like to be updated to fix one or more of the following issues:

  • Subject matter refresh
  • Keyword density (SEO)
  • Additional research
  • Grammar and spelling issues
  • Tone

How can I set my rate for a tune-up?

You can find available tune-up jobs in the Custom Ideas and Proposals tab within your Available Work menu. Look for the tune-up icon, open the job details, and review the request. Within a request, customers will provide their original piece of content and some instructions for the tune-up.

If you'd like to submit a proposal for a tune-up, you'll need to create a new title (if applicable), outline a bio describing why you're a good fit, and set your rate for the job.

If a customer accepts your rate, you'll be notified immediately and the tune-up will become an active job in your queue.
